He was born in Birbhum District, West Bengal. He obtained the B.Sc. (Honours) and M.Sc degree in Mathematics from Visva-Bharati, Shantiniketan. He joined the Department of Mathematics, Krishnagar Government Collage as a Lecturer in 2009. Formerly he was a Lecturer in Mathematics in Nistarini College, Purulia. His research interest includes the Boundary Layer Flow, Bio-fluid dynamics, MHD.
