Sanchita Kundu is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Sanskrit, Krishnagar Govt. College. She has passed B.A. (Honours) from the University of Calcutta in 2003. She has also received her Masters from Calcutta University in the year 2005. In 2008, Smt. Kundu has successfully completed her M. Phil degree from Calcutta University. She is currently working on her Ph. D Programme on Upanishads from the University of Calcutta. The title of her Ph. D thesis is 'Social Message of the Upanisads'. Her areas of interest are Vedas and Upanishads. She has published several papers in different prestigious Journals.
