Kaustabi Maitra Graduated from Rishi Bankim Chandra College For Women, Naihati in 2004 with specialization in Cartography and obtained Master's Degree in Geography from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Chhattisgarh in 2006 with specialization in Remote Sensing & GIS. She completed M.Phil in Remote Sensing & GIS from North Bengal University in 2007.Now she is pursuing PhD in Physical Geography from North Bengal University. She joined Department of Geography, Krishnagar Govt. College as a Part-time Lecturer in August 2008. She attended and presented various international as well as national level conferences and seminars.She also worked as guest lecturer in Ramkrishna Mission Sarada Ma Girl’s College and Netaji Open University.
